The ending was messy, clichéd, and a disappointment to many.

But at the same tine, it was perfect. I used to never like the ending, but after rewatching the show again,

my first thought at the ending was "hey, that's life."

Life is messy. Life is clichéd. And life definitely can be a disappointment.

The main lesson of himym is that life often isn't how you wanted it to be, that life is crazy.

The ending was just life, it's highs and lows, all in a convenient 20ish minute episode.

Sonetimes in life thing fall apart, sometimes they take unexpected twists.

And sometimes, someone repeats all the same mistakes because its familiar.

But hey, that's life. The ending was perfect because it was flawed.
